Experienced corporate attorney makes a local move

Maike Bergervoet joins Spigthoff Attorneys & Tax Advisers on Curacao, the Netherlands Antilles per 15 February 2007. Maike is specializing in corporate and business law, commercial contracts, cross-border reorganizations, mergers and take-overs, the incorporation and structuring of (hedge and investment) funds as well as in drafting offering circulars.

Maike studied both (Dutch) civil and notarial law at the Radboud University of Nijmegen (2000). In The Netherlands she worked as a deputy civil law notary at Holland Van Gijzen. In the Netherlands Antilles (Curacao) she worked as an attorney for STvB Attorneys (f.k.a. Smeets Thesseling Van Bokhorst) as of September 2004.
