The Code of Conduct for Attorneys (Lawyers) in Curacao, as well as those in Aruba, St. Maarten and the BES-islands, contain some specific rules regarding correspondence between attorneys.

This week, the Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, and numerous Dutch entrepreneurs visit Curacao for the Bon Bini for Business Summit.
This is a great initiative in which the government of Curacao, led by Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath, and the Dutch government work closely together to strengthen economic ties and create opportunities for investment in Curacao.

De enquêteregeling is in Curaçao van kracht geworden op 1 januari 2012 en wel met onmiddellijke werking. Dat riep in het kader van de enquêteprocedure inzake de overheidsvennootschappen vragen van overgangsrechtelijke aard op. A new Board of the Consular Corps of Curaçao was appointed at the recent annual general meeting. Karel Frielink, honorary consul of Germany, was re-elected as Dean. The other board members elected were Margaret Hawthorne (U.S. Consul General) as Vice-Dean, Jan Van Belleghem (honorary consul of Belgium) as Treasurer, Ralph Obersi (honorary consul of Mexico) as Secretary and Paul Pradin (honorary consul of France) as Member.
